The Fallen Icarus

This is my version of the Fallen Icarus.

In Greek and Roman culture, their gods were a central part of their lives and the stories that went alongside them had a massive impact on them. The mythology around Icarus portrays him as a fallen demigod, which would have been mourned and felt by all. I wanted to create a modern equivalent by portraying Icarus as a dead teenager, because in the modern day a dead teenager would have more of an emotional impact on the masses than a fallen demigod.
